Tracy Beardsley "REMEMBERING" Oil 24x18 on wood panel NFS
I tried to convey the quietness that comes with growing older. And as we age, it seems like those happier memories of better times help to soothe our souls during difficult times, because it reminds us that we are cherished and loved by family and friends.

Carol Brolin "NATIVITY CHURCH" Acrylic 24x28 NFS
I used to attend this historical Nativity church in Menlo Park for years. I painted several pictures of the church and one is hanging in the church parish rectory.

Diana Chan "GIRAFFE" Photography 5x7 PRINT $20
On a tour of Tanzania, we saw this giraffe, chewing leaves from branches while nursing her baby. Giraffes are beautiful, graceful, and coexist with wildebeests, zebras, and worthogs in Tanzania. Pictures are featured in my book "Animal kingdom: Vertebrates" https://asiastore.org/author-page/diana-f-chan/

Diana Chan "SYMBIOTIC" Photography 5x7 Print $20
On a tour of Tanzania elephants were seen with birds hitching rides on their backs. The birds get fed pecking at ticks and insects while the elephants get rid of the pesky itchy insects. Good example of symbiosis, different animal species helping each other. Featured in my book: Animal kingdom: Vertebrates https://asiastore.org/author-page/diana-f-chan/

Barbara Chamberlain "WHALES" mixed media $20
Fun with the pod. it's because i see things that aren't really there. These pieces of driftwood looked like whales and baby whales to me. My favorite thing is beachcombing. Now the beaches are open but the parking lots closed. Our world is being run by people who make up things daily without a gram of common sense. I am always bringing home rocks and pieces of wood thinking I can do something with this.

Barbara Chamberlain "WHO'S THERE" Mixed Media 5x7 $20
I love putting things together. Who's there is a collection of metal found pieces on velvet. It is refound art.

Fall is my time of year! This photo was taken at Silver Springs, W.Virginia. We were on an evening walk and I couldn't resist taking an image of the peacefulness of the area. My only regret is that the clock was 7 minutes past the hour and I couldn't title the photo "It's 5'o clock" somewhere. 11x17 Matted Photography print

* Claudia Gray "FRACTURED LIVES" Glass 17.25x12.75 $295
Social distancing the new normal of how people relate to one another is not quite normal nor feels good. This sculpture shows the feelings I had on Mother’s Day, when my older daughter came over to celebrate - however, I couldn’t hug her. I felt split and torn. I wanted to reach out to her (the clear glass reaching up to her). She kept reminding me not to get to close for my own protection (her wisdom is demonstrated with the quartz at the top middle) Together, but apart. It was very painful and sad when she finally left, and felt fractured. This sculpture is representational of the split we are all feeling while social distancing.

Phyliss Gunderson "BREAKING FOG" Oil 22x28 $1200

Elvira Rascov "GEESE IN THE PARK" Watercolor 7x10 NFS
This painting was inspired by a friend's picture of a park here in San Jose. The geese in the foreground are the focal point on this painting and look like they are talking to one another. The use of different greens on the tree gives life to the painting same with the blue water on the lake and the shadows add dimension.

Elvira Rascov "GIRL WITH PIINK UMBRELLA" Gouche 6x9 NFS
This painting was a nice experiment using gouache. I chose this scene of a girl walking with an umbrella just because I wanted to have a bright focal point. The pink umbrella and her black coat are a good combination of colors. I liked painting the background of this painting going from light to dark to give a feeling of distance. This scene represents the first snow in winter time.

Marcia Sivek "WATER HOLE" 20x14 watercolor $200
This watercolor painting was inspired by a photograph I took at the Lewa Conservancy in Kenya. I was amused by the standoff between a mother and baby elephant with a Grevy Zebra. The poor zebra wanted water so badly but had to wait until the elephants were finished. The year we were in Kenya was a year of terrible drought. You can see it in the sunken face of the mother elephant somewhat. Grevy Zebra are a threatened species of zebra, I was lucky to see one.

Kathryn Tyler "CAROLINA SHELTER" Acrylic 10x12 NFS
I painted this from a picture of a covered bridge that was taken by a friend of mine who is ill. The photo spoke to me as a metaphor of what he has been through. Healthy and happy before this horrible illness. Then, you enter the darkness of the bridge interior. You are fighting it, in pain, frightened and confused. When you are finally through it and cured, you will come out into the sunshine.
